Quiksilver Everyday Sessions

Neoprene and Liners
The all new Everyday Sessions is constructed out of Ocean Natural Rubber which includes Repeater stretch for the exterior and Primaloft® for the interior liner. By using more sustainable manufacturing processes, Quiksilver reduces the CO2 emissions of each suit due to the 100% post consumer recycled fibers.
Wetsuit buyers take note: quality internal liners on cold water suits make a huge difference in terms of warmth and comfort. The Everyday Sessions features Primaloft®, which has a cozy-looking burgundy color to it. You’ll find the Primaloft® from the knees up to the chest/back on this wetsuit, while the rest of the suit (arms, lower legs) has a standard lighter-weight liner that maximizes stretch and makes the suit easy to slide on and off. Primaloft® is a liner that has some of the best insulating fibers in the outdoor industry.
Seams and Stitching
The Everyday Sessions uses GBS (glued and blind-stitched) seams, which is standard on many cold water suits. GBS construction creates a movable seam for increased flexibility from top to bottom. Quik also placed internal taping from the chest down through the knee pads of the suit and critical spot taped at seam junctions throughout the interior. This combination of seam manufacturing creates a warmer and more durable wetsuit. Lastly, all seams are sealed together with Aqua Alpha, a non-toxic, water-based glue.

Fit and Cut
According to the size chart for the Everyday Sessions, I’m between the L and the XL. At 5'11 and 195 lbs., the L fits a bit more snugly than the XL. The arms and legs were a hair short but not enough to warrant sizing up.
The closest fitting wetsuit brand to quicksilver would be O'Neill, although I'd say it slightly on the broader side of the wetsuit sizing spectrum. So, just like O'Neill but with a broader fitting upper body section.
Performance
The Everyday Sessions is a very comfortable and warm suit. The flexibility is excellent and allows for easy paddling and movement. The hood fits comfortably and creates a solid seal around the face. It is unique that the sessions are offered in a hooded 4/3 version. Many brands only offer 5/4 wetsuits with hoods.
As someone who prefers internal taping on seams, the high-stress point taping is just enough to get the job done, but not feel bulky. If surfing chilly 50° F water, the Quiksilver Everyday Sessions 5/4/3 stays plenty warm. If you get into water in the low 40's, you might want to consider something with smooth skin panels or thicker rubber.

Value and Durability
Overall, the Everyday Sessions is a great value for your dollar. It has just the right features to keep you warm while remaining simple and durable. Partially taped & GBS seams help increase the suit's longevity as they are strong and watertight where needed most. The Everyday Sessions will keep you toasty warm, and with many models available for under $350, you are getting a solid quality suit at a great price point.
